NOW YOU mighty guitarists CAN STILL spin some riffs but also allow the set to be thundered with the might of your drums and howling of your voice IF YOU WISH!
Let the power of your voice join forces with the might of the sticks and the nimble fingered Gods of the Guitars in this year's Festival mayhem on the Guitar Hero Stage. If you believe you can scream out some vocals, Spin some riffs or Explode on the drums, now is your chance to impress your friends and peers in the Bloodstock open Guitar Hero METALICA 2009 competition extravaganza.
For this year we have decided to simplify the rules SOMEWHAT and try to give every budding new Metallica or ACDC wannabe a chance to enjoy playing to THE crowd at Bloodstock 2009. FOR A CHANCE TO BECOME BLOODSTOCK GUITAR HERO CHAMPION 2009 AT THE LIVE final READ ON. It will strictly be on a first-come-first-serve basis, so WE apologize now for anyone not given the opportunity to compete. THE FIRST HEAT IS ON FRIDAY 8 TH MAY 2009 FROM 7PM TO 10PM (GAME ONLINE WILL BE GUITAR HERO III OR WORLD TOUR UNTIL METALLICA IS RELEASED). You must enter as a Guitar solo artist, but the winners will be chosen by THEIR overall game score regardless of the gamer difficulty chosen...........so get practicing!
We have decided to have 2 CHAMPIONS in 2009. THE first winner will be the highest individual score on solo play on any chosen instrument or vocal, the second will be given to the highest overall BAND score AT THE LIVE FINAL on the day.
REMEMBER, THERE WILL BE £0000'S OF OTHER PRIZES INCLUDING GAME CONSOLES, THE LATEST ACTIVISION Games, Festival goodies AND OF COURSE VIP Festival Tickets for 2010 including camping and parking!
LIVE Entry AT THE festival QUALIFIER ON THE DAY WILL be £2.50 for solo artists, which will also include a practice TRACK OR £10 for a complete band. REMEMBER IT IS FREE TO enter the competition ON XBOX LIVE for your chance to make it to the final!! DURING the heats you will be given 1 song of YOUR choice and difficulty AS WELL AS ONE OF THE BLOODSTOCK TEAM! To enter the competition and SUBMIT your score you will be notified of your qualification to the finals. REMEMBER, WE WANT THE EVENT TO BE EVEN MORE FUN THAN LAST YEAR SO WE WILL MAKE SURE ANY budding bands CAN simply come ALONG TO BOA 2009 and play for fun over the weekend without worrying about what score they get! You will not be entered into the competition (UNLESS YOU WANT TO OF COURSE!), but you will be able to have ago and simply see if you can compare to the TALENT WE KNOW IS OUT THERE!. After all, it's not all serious and should be a laugh to see some of you after a few shandy's.

The Bloodstock Webmaster is the Official Guitar Hero 3 and Guitar Hero World Tour competition adjudicator and will monitor the Competitions from start to finish.
