Make sure you check out CYNOSURE GUITARS as featured special guest Visual Artists in the new gallery exhibit promoting and presenting their unconventional instruments, known as, “functional art”. !With the RAM Gallery, Paul Raymond Gregory illustrates his belief in supporting visual and aesthetic artists as much as musicians.. One of CYNOSURE's four guitars on display will be the eponymous custom-built ‘Bloodstock Guitar’ (Infernus model), featuring full-branding and idiosyncrasies, coupled with the concept of Bloodstock Festival that promises to be “...the most ‘Metal’ guitar of all time...”, says Artist and Luthier, CYNOSURE. ! Be sure to make time at the festival to come in and view the guitars in the RAM Gallery. CYNOSURE GUITARS are no strangers to producing concept guitars. !During 2013, CYNOSURE built a series of postmodern guitars featuring technologies and thematics of differing eras of Industrial Revolution that were exhibited at the World-renowned Art fair, ‘Art Basel’. The ‘Metal 2 The Masses’ finals have rocked to a conclusion and some more lucky young bands are joining the New Blood stage at Catton Park next month, plus there's a few last additions for the Sophie and Jagermeister stages. BALLS DEEP bring their trad groove metal to the Sophie Lancaster stage. The Brit outfit have been busy honing their ‘Pro-Pain cut with Black Sabbath’ sound, coming on like the bastard sons of Pantera and classic heavy metal. Over on the Jagermeister stage, female-fronted power metallers ACELDAMA will be impressing allcomers with their high octane performance and audience interaction, while New Blood stage stoner rocker’s RESIN will be offering an additional acoustic spin on their new material. Meanwhile, the New Blood stage welcomes the last clutch of winners from the last batch of M2TM roadshow finals. GOAT LEAF bring their doom groove from the Sheffield heats, OAKHAART’s tech death noise hails from Gloucestershire, impressing judges at the Bristol event, SINPATHETIC grace us with their death metal from the Preston night, ERADIKATOR’s thrash metal won out in Birmingham, and lastly but not least, CACODAEMONIC’s unholy, neo-classical infused death metal represents Nottingham.

Once the bands are done each day, the after-hours entertainment in the big top Sophie Stage borders on legendary, so be sure to rock up to Catton Park early on Thursday 7th, pitch your tent and get your beer on in time for the evening’s proceedings. On Thursday night from 10.30pm, the Warm Up Party will be in full swing, running through ‘til 3am. Come on out, hear the best metal tracks from the house DJs, meet your fellow Bloodstockers and make new friends for the weekend. On Friday, the Sophie Stage features Live Band Karaoke! Do you think you’re the next Dio or Doro? Get up on stage with the house band and show Bloodstock what you’ve got! They play the song and you belt out the words, which will be up on the screens if you need ‘em, just like real karaoke. Come to the Sophie stage during the day and check out what tracks you could sing from the list available, then be back to register your name and chosen song with the stage crew when the fun happens between 10.30 and midnight. The heavy metal continues through to 3am with BLOODSTOCK’s very own ‘house’ 4 DJs of the Apocalypse. Saturday’s fun is BLOODSTOCK’s Got Talent! Have you got a musical skill that you want to show off to thousands of metal fans?! With a full band rig on stage, maybe you want to get up and show off drum skills like Gene Hoglan, bass licks like Cliff Burton or solo away like you’re Dave Mustaine! The crowd will get to vote by throwing their metal horns aloft in support (or will you get the Horn of Doom and have to leave the stage)?! Come by and win prizes from your BLOODSTOCK’s Got Talent team! When the fun is done, the 4DJs of the Apocalypse will take you through to 3am with metal classics, Hellfire performances, dancers and guest DJs. Sunday sees the BLOODSTOCK Farewell Party running to 3am, so get those last drinks drunk with your new friends and vow to meet again next year to do it all over again!
