Voodoo Belfast is a small but vibrant live venue situated in the centre of Belfast. It caters for rock and metal bands of all shades and has hosted a variety of national and international touring acts, as well as catering for a vibrant local metal scene. This will be the fourth year that Voodoo has hosted the M2M finals and semi’s and it’s never less than an amazing night of grass roots local metal!!

The Brickmakers on Sprowston Road (Norwich) has played host to the Metal To The Masses competition several times now – each heat, semi final and of course the finals have been packed. A large stage gives local metal talent a chance to be heard through the great sound system. With a large carpark, and plenty of food outlets nearby, the Brickmakers offers a great night out. This will be Livewire’s second year hosting Devon & Cornwall M2TM and last year was a real blast – and a great honour to take part again. Livewire’s venue is based in a charitable youth music project, its 250 capacity and very well equipped both in terms of sound and lighting, we also have good quality backline available for bands. As a youth project we don’t have a bar but there is a pub literally next door and folks are allowed to bring drinks in. Livewire’s metal heritage is pretty impressive with the likes of the late great Ronnie James Dio and Lemmy being supporters as well as many more. Trillians Rock Bar is a firm staple in the North-East Rock Community. Although there were some uncertain times in recent years, it’s seen a new lease of life under the management of sound man Dave Hills and Barbara Blair. The passion by the management team puts a spark into a very important North-East venue, just looking at the gig hall of fame tells you all you need to know – a mixture of strong established bands and upcoming bands who went on to better things. Heebies Basement has been known for crazy late nights for longer than most of you people have been alive. Refreshingly unique, wonderfully insane and undeniably spectacular, EBGBS is the club you’ve always wanted but never dared to go.
