Good news to all Playstation 3 Guitar Hero Fans! Bloodstock has recently expanded its heats from Xbox Live to also the Playstation Network! The competition that offers fantastic prizes to its winners to find the official, “Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2009 – Guitar Hero Metallica Champion†started the heats on Xbox Live from the 8th May 2009; the heats are currently taking place fortnightly from 7pm to 10pm on Xbox Live; and will correspondingly follow the same layout over on ‘Playstation Network’.
Although the heats allow gamers to pick between Guitar Hero: 3 and Guitar Hero World Tour, the latest release by Activision, Guitar Hero: Metallica, will be used as the ultimate game in the finals – in which take place at the festival on the 14th, 15th and 16th August 2009.
Moreover, Bloodstock has recently announced the brilliant, band function to its competition. Allowing Guitarists to be backed by their very own set if they wish, (consisting of a drummer and Vocalist), in an attempt to destroy all other bands in their path!
Furthermore, if letting the power of your voice join forces with the might of the sticks and the nimble fingered Gods of the Guitars in this year's festival mayhem interests you. If you believe you can scream out some vocals, spin some riffs or explode on the drums – then now is your chance to impress your friends and peers in the ‘Bloodstock Open Guitar Hero Metallica 2009’, competition extravaganza.
Now that the gates have been amplified, attracting more potential “Guitar Hero Champions†from across the world, the benchmark and challenge will be greater.
