FRIDAY
14.55 - 15.25 - VICTOR SMOLSKI GUITAR CLINIC
When talking about the guitarist, Victor Smolski, it's impossible to restrict yourself to just one superlative if you want to do justice to the extraordinary talent and artistic diversity of this unique musician. The RAGE guitarist will be giving a full demonstration of his outstanding shredding in a breathtaking display of neck wrenching guitar work.
17.30 - 18.00 - SWORN TO OATH
Hailing from the midlands, brought up on a diet of blues, old school rock metal then later finding a heavier voice to identify with, sworn to oath are a tight clenched fist in the face of a mundane, static society. Having individually served time learning the ropes, the three pillars of s2o are ready to take no prisoners and have their sights set high, priding themselves on their live show.

Incorporating many different styles and influences to create a haunting yet blistering assault on the senses, Betraeus, the Manchester based 4 piece remind you truly why you got into extreme metal in the first place. Their full set can be seen in the unsigned stage, but this promises to be an acoustic set with a special dedication to the late, great Ronnie James Dio.

SATURDAY
13.45 – 2.15 – POINT BLANK FURY
Point Blank Fury consist of 5 hairy rockers from the home of metal, Birmingham, UK. They were formed in late 2008 out of a desire to create the best “No bullshit†musically and visually intoxicating band on the circuit. As we move out of the “naughties†and into a new decade expect to hear a lot more from this band! “This band has seriously got it!â€

14.55 -15.25 - HANGING DOLL
The dark intense orchestral metal of hanging doll combines pure passionate and powerful vocals with dense levels of narcissism and emotional longing. The fusion of brooding detuned guitar riffs with highly melodic string patterns and a metal core is without doubt a potent mix, both powerful and poignant. Without conceding to convention or imitation hanging doll are happy to dispel all critics and disbelievers with their mature epic and multi textured sound.

17.30 - 18.00 - COSMIC VORTEX OF DOOM
The cosmic vortex of doom are a bunch of filthy stinking, bean-flicking, whisky drinking, hard rocking, stoned, bad-ass stoner/doom/metal bastards. Influenced by the sounds of Iron Monkey, Cathedral, Black Sabbath and Electric Wizard as well as various power metal and prog bands. Having recently recorded a new four track ep, the result sounds fucking huge! Stand by ya beds for some Acoustic Doooom!!

19.00 - 19.30 - SILAS
Deep in the suburbs of South East London, an awesome force known as Silas has been mesmerising the audiences of bars, clubs and home stereos in every direction, building a legion of fans with which to take over the world of rock music as we know it… Their style is primarily rock and metal, but uniquely incorporates many other styles such as jazz, reggae, blues and funk. This makes for a very unusual brand of rock music, focusing largely on melody and energy, with unusual riffs and catchy hooks as well as extremely heavy sections, progressiveness and other-worldly guitar solos and perfectly suitable for the Acoustic Stage.

SUNDAY

Showcasing songs from the new album "A Way Of Life" this is a welcome return to the Manchester Metallers Fury UK with some pure British Rock Metal given the acoustic twist. Since signing to Rocksector Records in 2007, Fury UK has emerged as one of the most exciting young classic metal bands Britain has to offer, with quality albums uplifting live performances….
Metal Hammer recently said..... "it's always good to discover a new favourite band at festivals and Fury UK seem destined to fit that bill for plenty of people. Their stirring old-school metal sidesteps retro cliche and goes for the jugular with lashings of blistering lead work and planet-sized tune"
