Bloodstock Open Air this year gave all students at Bilborough College, Nottingham the chance of winning a fantastic prize of two tickets – worth £95 each! The competition that began early February, asking, “What does B-OA stand for?†finished on the 6th March 2009.
The prize gave the winner and a friend, the chance to attend the festival for free this year, allowing them to camp and enjoy all the live bands throughout the three days it takes place (14th, 15th and 16th of August).
Over 400 contestants entered, giving the correct answer, and the draw was carried out, giving every entrant an equal chance of winning. From that draw Harriet Smith was the winner.
