BLOODSTOCK FESTIVAL are ready to announce their first batch of club promo nights for the 2014 event! More will be added for June and July, so don’t despair if your nearest rock club isn’t listed yet, but in the meantime, get along to one of the following events, check out some tunes from BLOODSTOCK bands old and new, and get in with the chance of winning weekend tickets or related giveaways. Expect a fun way of attempting to win tickets - last year’s club nights included the likes of bucking broncos, endurance tests and air guitaring! Check out your local club for details.

BLOODSTOCK 2014 is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet! Friday night’s headliners are New Orleans sludgemeisters, DOWN, who release their latest EP, ‘Down IV; EP Two’ on 12th May. Joining them to head up Saturday night are re-united black metal overlords, EMPEROR who are celebrating 20 years of their monumental ‘In The Nightside Eclipse’ opus, and closing out proceedings on Sunday are the mighty thrash legends, MEGADETH, whose back catalogue features classic track after classic track after….you get the picture. Also announced so far are DIMMU BORGIR, AMON AMARTH, OBITUARY, CROWBAR, HATEBREED, LACUNA COIL, HELLYEAH, CARCASS, PRONG, CHILDREN OF BODOM, SAXON, DECAPITATED, FLOTSAM JETSAM, EVIL SCARECROW, GRAVEYARD and many more.
