NHS hospitals that offer young people specialist care, bringing them together so they can support each other in an environment suited to their needs. As well as specialist units, Teenage Cancer Trust also funds a number of services all with the same goal – to help young people fight cancer. These include clinical and research staff, an education programme for schools, family support networks and an annual conference for young cancer patients. Jen Walker, music coordinator for Teenage Cancer Trust comments:
“It was hugely exciting for Teenage Cancer Trust to be involved in this year’s Bloodstock Open Air. We’d never been a part of an event so predominantly ‘metal’ before but our message was welcomed with open arms and the support and generosity of the Bloodstock staff and festival-goers has been amazing. We’re really excited about auctioning the bass Yamaha kindly donated to us and Lemmy generously signed – Lemmy is a legend and we can’t wait to see how much this rare item will raise!”
