Bloodstock Friday Saturday Headliners Lacuna Coil In Flames have commented after a recent question asked by their management on how they feel about appearing at the Uks Premier Independent Metal Festival Bloodstock Open Air in August.
Peter Iwers the Bass Player for In Flames added “Playing Bloodstock this year is a first time experience for us and it’s hard to know what to expect, so we try to stay as relaxed as possible.
We’ll just get there and do our best and hope for a magnificent audience.â€
â€Having played the UK before we all know that the crowds always rock and we hope to see all the British In Flames fans and their friends at the show. Also it’s going to be a blast playing with such good friends as the guys in Dark Tranquility ,Lacuna Coil, Arch Enemy etcâ€.
In Flames are currently in pre production for their new album which is scheduled for release next year. The album will be recorded in the newly built In Flames studios. The band are also playing various festivals in Europe this summer along with two shows supporting Heavy Metal Giants IRON MAIDEN.
Lacuna Coil Front man Andrea Ferro also commented on their headlining appearance on the Friday night at Bloodstock Open Air, he added “Our last tour in the UK has been a blast and it is about time for us to come back and have a great fuckin time at the Bloodstock Festival! It’s our first appearance and we are really thrilled to see some of the old friends and a lot of new people, we will be ready to rock that stage and we expect the same from you guys, see ya there!!!! “
The bands latest album ‘Karmacode.’ is now becoming one of the fastest selling albums in Europe, they hope to beat the huge success of their 2004 album ‘Comalies’ that sold over 500,000 copies worldwide.
