It was an ambitious target to set but we are extremely proud to announce that over £13,750 was raised at this year’s Bloodstock festival for the Teenage Cancer Trust by you! Not only is that a record-breaking total by over £4,500 but more than £1,000 ahead of the bulls-eye!
Bloodstock Open Air and Teenage Cancer Trust began working together in 2011 and in those five years Bloodstock attendees have raised over £34,500 for teenagers and young adults with cancer throughout the UK. That equates to 345 family support sessions, 1,725 hours with a youth support worker or 1,380 hours with an expert nurse.
Over £4,000 was directly from the stall inside the arena – another landmark - so a huge thank you to all of those who bought / donated an item for the T-shirt Amnesty, purchased a raffle ticket or dropped some money into a bucket. A huge thanks also goes out to headliners Trivium and Within Temptation for donating two amazing raffle prizes.
Jen Walker at Teenage Cancer Trust say’s “The Bloodstock family and metal community has welcomed and supported Teenage Cancer Trust with open arms, and we couldn’t thank you more for all of the support you’ve shown to embrace the charity and really make a difference.”
