Got your tent ready?! Our campsite partner is Miss Daisy’s Camping Store, so if you don’t want to tow a ton of gear to site, order online and collect it from the Miss Daisy tent in the main Midgard campsite. See what’s available and/or place your order via their ‘click & collect’ service here -http://www.missdaisyscampingstore.co.uk/. If you arrive and discover you’ve forgotten your sleeping bag, they’ll do their best to help!
Also based in the Midgard campsite are our festival Samaritans. These guys are available 24hrs a day, from Thursday night through to Monday morning. It doesn’t matter if it’s late or early, baking hot or raining, if you’re feeling low and need some emotional support, please stop by their tent for a non-judgemental and confidential chat with someone trained to listen. Learn more about the Samaritans at:http://www.samaritans.org/.
If you came to BLOODSTOCK last year, did you try the very metal, alcoholic, KRAKEN Black Spiced Rum ice cream? We’re pleased to say not only is the ice cream returning, KRAKEN are bringing their Freaky Tiki bar, where you can imbibe dastardly concoctions amongst black palm trees, tiki torches, and shrunken heads. Look for the totem pole, you won’t be able to miss it. If bourbon revs your engine instead, you’re all set as BULLEIT are cruising in with their classic Studebaker truck bar, offering their infamous frontier whiskey, along with a host of other BULLEIT goodies!
There’s a wide range of food on offer at BLOODSTOCK, so you’re sure to find something that takes your fancy. Carnivore, vegetarian, vegan, or looking for something Halal, gluten-free, or dairy-free? BLOODSTOCK’s got you covered. Only low-fat ostrich meatballs will do? No problem, head over to I Love Ostrich. Pining for a lamb & mint sausage? All About The Sausage have 15 different foot longs. D&J Gallops Farm Burgers are all about sustainable, free-range, grass-fed beef. Veggies and vegans are catered for at Hot Wok, Paellaria, & long time festival fave Deli Kate - but do check out other vendors too because they aren’t the only ones with suitable options! Wash it all down with a milkshake (inc. dairy-free) from Shaken Udder - they even do a breakfast one. There’s many other choices besides and there’s also free drinking water at designated water points in the campsites and main arena. Learn more at:http://www.bloodstock.uk.com/events/boa-2017/traders,
When you’re not watching bands, check out the BLOODSTOCK market place, where more than 40 traders will be offering everything from band merch, alternative clothing, flags, patches, army surplus, hats, New Rocks, homeware, CDs, vinyl, posters, jewellery, fancy dress, face painting, and more. Looking for something different? Visit Viking Crafts, Amber Wolf Workshop, or pick up some Norse God-inspired leisure wear at Descended From Odin. Don’t forget to enter Teenage Cancer Trust’s raffle too. If you snapped up a VIP ticket, you’ll love the rock n’ roll silver jewellery from The Great Frog, exclusively in the Serpents Lair.
