As the weekend draws to a close, BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR is thrilled to announce this year's event as their biggest to date. From its humble indoor beginnings at Derby Assembly Rooms back in 2001, the family-owned, independently run metal festival has steadily grown, building to a festival attendance this year of over 18,000.
BLOODSTOCK 2018 was headlined by three phenomenal performances from British metal legends, JUDAS PRIEST, French heavyweights, GOJIRA and Finnish symphonic icons, NIGHTWISH. The bill was rounded out with sets from CANNIBAL CORPSE, AT THE GATES, DEVILDRIVER, EMPEROR, VENOM INC, COMBICHRIST, ALESTORM, LOVEBITES, WEDNESDAY 13, JASTA, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, WATAIN, DORO, EXHORDER, PALLBEARER, ORPHANED LAND and many more.
Early Bird tickets for the 2019 festival are available online from 9am Monday 13th August for the bargain price of £125 (+ bkg fee) over at the BLOODSTOCK ticket store - bloodstock.uk.com. VIP Serpents Lair tickets are scheduled to go on sale early September.
