Band Line Up 2026

Heavy riffs, country licks and a distinctive Americana aesthetic, Bootyard Bandits are the UK's 'most wanted' country metal band.

Formed in Worcester, England, in 2019, they rode onto the scene with their anthemic debut single "Hoedown Showdown", which earned critical acclaim through a comically gruesome Lego stop-motion video. The band hit the road, supporting pirate metalers Alestorm across Europe and the UK. They quickly established themselves as a slick and highly entertaining live band, often compared to the likes of Blackstone Cherry for their musicality and Steel Panther for their tongue in cheek lyrics.

After releasing multiple singles (such as "Shirt Potatoes", "Let's Rodeo" and "Country Music"), debut album "Songs For The Saddle Sore" was released in 2021 and was followed by more extensive touring.

Now Bootyard Bandits are back with a brand-new line up, featuring ex-members of The Defiled and Heaven's Basement, and a brand new highly anticipated album, scheduled for release in late 2025. Citing a wide variety of influences from Guns 'n' Roses to Brad Paisley, Bring Me The Horizon to Dolly Parton. The metal is more metal and the country is more country.
