Band Line Up 2012

Since their
inception FURYON have been a band who like nothing more than to challenge
expectations. Raised on a diet of heavy metal, prog, and classic rock, FURYON
mix all these components for a truly unique and contemporary sound. Delivering
huge rock radio friendly songs, with technically challenging, yet infectiously
catchy musicianship. Dedicated to one sole purpose, making hard hitting songs
that will stand the test of time. Whether it’s the Melodic yet Edgy vocals or
the shredding guitars, these guys deliver a live show not for the faint
hearted.

2009

In the summer of
2009 FURYON flew out to Atlanta and Recorded their Debut album ‘GRAVITAS’ with
Platinum selling US Producer ‘Rick Beato’, who’d received huge success
producing US stadium Artists such as SHINEDOWN and VINCE NEIL. The chemistry of
Beato & FURYON was nothing short of electric and resulted in what has now
come to be know as ‘The greatest Unsigned album by a British Rock band
inDecades’.

2010

Once back in the UK
the band released a limited run of 2000 copies of Gravitas. Rave reviews of the
album quickly followed along with sell out shows across the UK. In 2010,
Classic Rock magazine loved the sound so much that they mounted 3 tracks from
the album called the ‘Underdog EP’ on the magazine to a worldwide market. Weeks
later, Metal Hammer magazine chose the track ‘Wasted on You’ to be part of
their cover mounted compilation CD, spreading the word of FURYON across all of
Europe and resulting in sponsorship from the Energy drink company ‘MONSTER’.

In late 2010 the
band shot two videos for their upcoming singles. Disappear Again, shot in
Manchester by ‘Sitcom Soldiers’. And Don’t Follow, which was shot LIVE in front

2011

In 2011, London PR
giants ‘DUFF PRESS’ took the band under their wing and launched a huge single
release campaign for ‘Disappear Again’, resulting in both the video and the
single being played across all of UK’s rock stations and networks. The single
gained so much momentum that British video game developers ‘Codemasters’
insisted the song be part of the soundtrack for their upcoming game ‘DIRT 3’,
which subsequently went to number 1 in the gaming charts. Within weeks the
Disappear Again video gained THOUSANDS of hits on you tube, resulting in the
bands social network sites being inundated with new fans. With the reputation
of devastating stages at UK Rock Metal festivals, such as BLOODSTOCK,
HARD ROCK HELL, HAMMERFEST, and HIGH VOLTAGE, FURYON’s live performances are
continuously gathering momentum and fast gaining a reputation for being a ‘Must
See’ band.
