ACID AGE
Acid Age are a power trio from Northern Ireland. Musically their style is rooted in thrash metal but they draw influences from all genres. They are self-described as "War-Jazz".
Acid Age have been gigging hard since their inception in 2013 and have attracted love from metallers, punks, bluesers and jazzers alike. Armed with technical musicianship and a militant style work ethic, Acid Age are bringing the songs of an incredibly ambitious concept album "Semper Pessimus" to every stage that holds the trio.
The story of Acid Age is one with a large cast, especially with numerous line-up changes through the early years of the band. Because of the nature of this, Acid Age's discography is vast in it's stylings and influences. As a result, you are left with a trio who are tried and tested at their craft of writing music that has it's own identity in this age that is saturated with sub genres.
The current line up has been the most solid and creative of all. Jude and Jake, who have been working on Acid Age since day one and Aran who joined the fold in 2016. These are musicians who are meant to create music together and who have shocked audiences with their ability to produce a phenomenally brutal and exciting wall of sound, as a trio.
"Twisty-turning riffing, unexpected tempo changes and rule book out the window arrangements - not to mention exemplary musicianship" - Fistful of Metal Magazine

Aran is master of swing, even at high bpms, With the subtle control of a 70s prog drummer and the speed and aggression of the most explosive death metal drummers. Arans drumming is only surpassed by this gentlemen’s etiquette. His influences include Dave Lombardo, Gene Hoglan and Neil Peart.
