Band Line Up 2023
The Grey is an instrumental Post-Rock three piece from Cambridge.
Since releasing their 2017 debut, they have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with such heavyweights as Will Haven, Palm Reader, Conjurer, Tuskar, Blind Monarch, Abigail Williams, Hawklords and Hundred Year Old Man.
In 2018 ‘New Noise Magazine’ premiered the track ‘Better Off Dead’ a collaboration with Sacramento post hardcore/sludge unit 'Horseneck' featuring members of Deftones, Will Haven, Eightfourseven and Chelsea Wolfe.
The latest album ‘Dead Fire' was produced by Matty Moon (Lonely The Brave, Half-Ton) & Mastered by Dick Beetham at 360 Mastering (Enter Shikari, Drenge, Lower Than Atlantis, Sikth).
2022 has seen the band consolidate their live reputation with a string of shows throughout the UK, including supporting Will Haven on their recent 'Carpe Diem' anniversary shows.
The Grey will round out their year with a two week EU tour supporting Leeds based post-metal crew Hundred Year Old Man and a CD re-issue of their first two records called 'Anthology', released in conjunction with Ripcord Records.
