Band Line Up 2015
Skarthia is a young up and coming metal band from North London. Bringing a fresh mix of numerous metal styles together to create heavy, melodic, brutal and catchy songs written to make your head bang back and fourth until it falls off.
The band, started in 2010, combine heavy vocals with melodic and brutal guitar riffs, accompanied by onslaughts of blastbeats and rumbling bass.
In late 2011 the band recorded their debut album "Retaliate", releasing it in 2012 and received much critical acclaim.
Local word got round about the electrifying shows and within two months of hitting the live circuit at the end of 2012, the band headlined a memorable show at Barfly. This led on to further tours around the UK.
The band swam easily through and reached the final of the 2013 Metal to The Masses Bloodstock competition, London region.
In 2014 the band were voted #9 in a list of 367 bands compiled by TBFM Radio.

Skarthia are currently touring and writing their second album, due for release in late 2015.
