Band Line Up 2015

XVII are a five piece Metal outfit from Kidderminster, West Midlands. Formed in 2012 XVII play fast, heavy full on METAL! Influenced by the likes of In Flames, Lamb of God, Devildriver and Caliban amongst many others, XVII mould their own sound together to bring a crushing live experience. 

XVII have been supporting some huge bands such as Crowbar, Sylosis and The Defiled and most recently they conquered Bloodstock’s Metal To The Masses competition which secures them a slot on The New Blood Stage at Bloodstock Open Air 2015 along with Rob Zombie, Trivium and many more.

As they finish the first song of their set, the crowd chant their name, demanding more. The band power through a confident set with dual vocals and deliciously heavy riffs. They slow it down with the song ‘Dream’, before finishing the set by all wind milling in time with each other on the final song. Remember where you heard the name."

We are honoured to be playing the UKs Greatest metal festival, Bloodstock Open Air 2015. After winning the Metal To The Masses Wolverhampton competition, where we competed against some of the best bands in the area, we are thrilled to be playing with some of the best metal acts in the world. We think its incredible that a major festival gives otherwise unheard-of bands the experience of playing on a larger scale.  We will hit the stage giving everything we've got and more to prove we have truly earned our slot.
