Band Line Up 2018

Hailing originally from Scotland and famed for fronting the Manchester based prog-metallers, Collibus, Gemma Fox is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who knows no bounds.

With powerful vocals, experience and raw talent, she demands the attention of any audience; holding them in her palm on the promise of a single held note. Taking influence from the dramatics and harmony of Queen, the downright strange and progressive Devin Townsend, right through to concussion inducing metal, Gemma is certainly never one to be outfoxed and is truly a force to behold.

After another successful album release for Collibus with the highly anticipated Trusting the Illusion, the time has come for something else; the writing process has begun for a new solo endeavour, straying away from the rock and metal she is known for and taking a step back to her song writing routes. Expect stripped back, acoustic laden material, while maintaining the familiarity of her love for strong melody and harmony.

I've always wanted to return to Bloodstock since performing with Collibus on the Sophie Lancaster stage in 2014. I never expected to be back as a solo artist! It is an absolute honour to be playing the Jager stage this year, and I can not wait to unveil some of my new solo material.
