Band Line Up 2018

Newcastle based metal quartet Kilonova first came into being when bassist Joe Bambrick began jamming with guitarist Jonny Sloan in Spring 2017. Steven Rouse then joined the group after responding to an advert seeking a drummer. In December 2017 after multiple unsuccessful attempts at finding a vocalist, Ellen Hill reached out to the band and completed the lineup in January 2018. Kilonova made their live debut in April 2018 and have now begun spreading their incendiary thrash tinged metal sound in the North East of England.

We are humbled to have been invited to play the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock 2018. We have been gigging for less than 6 months and we had no expectation of making it to the Newcastle final, so to have not only made it but to have won is surreal. We can't wait to strike out of Newcastle and wreak havoc on the hallowed soil of Bloodstock.
