Band Line Up 2019

Countless Skies burst onto the UK metal scene with their debut self-titled EP in late 2014. Blending progressive and darkly intense music influenced by their Scandinavian melodeth heroes, the EP began a flood of shows up and down the UK, including a slot at the UK’s No1 independent metal festival, Bloodstock Open Air in 2015.

Building upon their rapid momentum, the band determined to continue their conquest of the UK and farther afield released their debut full-length ‘New Dawn’ via Kolony Records in June 2016. Featuring eight tracks of inspiring melodic death metal, ethereal and laden with atmospheric soundscapes; it was a tremendous start for an emerging act and the album would go on to receive critical acclaim from press and fans worldwide and reach a staggering 168k figure play count on YouTube to date.

Following the release of their debut album, Countless Skies would tour the UK alongside Finland’s Whispered, and repeatedly cross the English channel into mainland Europe to grace stages and make festival appearances growing their 

fanbase at every stop. 

To sate a growing fanbase hunger for new material, as the band began work on their follow up to ‘New Dawn’, June 2018 saw the release of a brand new single entitled  ‘Tempest’, which has amassed over 100k plays on Spotify to date and of which was released alongside the bands first music video.
