Band Line Up 2019
In 1994 Solitary planted their standard and pledged their allegiance to the thrash metal cause. They have released three critically acclaimed studio albums, most recently The Diseased Heart Of Society, released in 2017. Assisted by producer Simon Efemey, Solitary created the heaviest and most intense album of their career -– hailed by Zero Tolerance Magazine as a “finely honed weapon of thrash destruction.”
Away from the studio the band have toured the length and breadth of the UK and made forays into Europe, playing alongside the likes of Onslaught, Xentrix and Destruction, their onstage power being captured on the landmark I Promise To Thrash Forever live album in 2014.
2019 marks 25 years of die hard metal for Solitary, a quarter of a century of staying steadfast and resolute and what better way to celebrate than with an appearance at Britain’s greatest all metal festival – Bloodstock Open Air! Plans for the rest of the year include the release of a history-charting DVD and more touring, including playing the Aggressive Music Fest in the Czech Republic. Most importantly the band will be recording their brand new album, once again with Simon Efemey. The promise to thrash forever still holds true.
