Band Line Up 2019

Take Refuge are a 5-piece Metal band hailing from Milton Keynes. Forming from the ashes of the defunct MK band Xyhon, whilst bringing in new blood in the form of guitarist Arran. 

Take Refuge bring a fresh sound and a heavy sonic attack, combining influences from various subgenres of metal including Death, Grove, Thrash and Modern Metalcore. Bringing a unique sound and an energetic stage show that will have you banging your head and throwing some shapes.

Playing Bloodstock Festival is a dream come true! As a band we have grown and developed over the last year, improving our sound, song writing and live performances. The whole metal 2 the masses competition has allowed us to grow as band and improve every round. We would just like to say a massive thank you! For everyone who has came out and seen us, voted for us and had a good time with us, Simon and all the Bloodstock team for giving local talent the opportunity to showcase themselves, and all the promoters and people behind the scenes that put together the Milton Keynes M2TM Competition.
