How do you know when an elephant has been in your fridge?

Footprints in the Custard started as the butt of a bad joke and have continued in this vein ever since, to the dismay of many mothers in the world. Based in Manchester, the five-piece are known for their catchy and heavy music that details the lurid side of life from bodily functions and heavy drinking to sexually active bears. 

Perhaps preceded by their reputation for elaborate costumes, including an infamous mankini, a tutu and an army of inflatables, the stage show is certainly a sight to behold. Footprints were also the winners of the Young Blood award in 2018, hosted by HRH Magazine. 

With three albums, two EPs, two Christmas singles and a whole lot of silliness, the boys have garnered live credentials that include Bloodstock Festival, Hammerfest, HRH Metal, Amplified and Download. Throughout it all they’ve supported such acts as Psychostick, Dog Fashion Disco, Lagerstein, Arnocorps, Green Jelly and Kunt and the Gang as well as providing full backing to Chav comedian MC Devvo. 

It’s unrelentingly silly and with the addition of their upcoming album ‘A New Low’, that’s unlikely to change anytime soon. 

We’re absolutely bloody stoked to be back on stage getting our bits out for you lot this year! Playing Bloodstock 2016 on the New Blood stage was one of the absolute pinnacles of our career so far and to be back on the SOPHIE stage for Thursday-night-party-night has certainly got the juices flowing in the under-areas!

So, what can you expect? Brand new songs from our album ‘A New Low’ (released June 2019), as well as some of the classics, all as heavy and catchy as STIs; a new stage show; too much drinking; lots of bad dancing; and a butt-load of terrible dick humour.

If Bloodstock can party as hard as they did last time on a Sunday evening, then we’re pole-vaulting with joy anticipating the antics of this year’s Thursday night! Bring your inflatables - It's going to get messy! FitC xxxx
