WARPSTORMER
In
the grim darkness of the 3rd millennium, there is only WARPSTORMER.
Originating as a plague-times recording project – conceived by vocalist/bassist Richard J Morgan and calling on the wizardly guitar assistance of Green Lung six-stringer Scott Black – this fantasy-space-metal riff machine released its debut EP Here Comes Hell in 2022.
Having since assembled a full live line-up – now comprising Morgan on vocals, bassist/vocalist Simon Doggett, guitarist Adam Davies and drummer James Loh – the South London four-piece is now bringing its ferocious riff-based offensive out of the studio and onto the stage. The band is currently in the studio working on the follow-up to Here Comes Hell with Producer Wayne Adams (Green Lung, Petbrick, Wasted Death).
“Brutally entertaining” – Outlaws of the Sun “Riffs – this thing packs 'em in and unleashes 'em with the confidence of a seasoned act and the haste of a band excited to parade their entire arsenal in a single 20 minutes span”
– Sleeping Village “A blisteringly confident and assured debut EP full of crunchy riffs, hooks and exceptional playing.” – Astral Noize “The band’s thrash-influenced stoner metal is a whirlwind of dirty, driven riffs that roar in your ears with all the confidence of a mad lion!” – Doom Charts
