Band Line Up 2014

Now this band are different…. really different.

Impossibly hard to define, describe and difficult to compare them as they drift in and out of genres and absolutely refuse to be pigeon holed.

Truly old school where the music takes precedence to being in a particular genre, Ded Orse are heavy make no mistake but not for the sake of it. The quirky use of the blues, funk, metal, psychedelic rock and soul creates a truly genre bridging heavy rock sound. Which means Ded Orse are equally comfortable playing on bills with acoustic duo’s to hardcore death metal.

Influences are clear but distorted; early Black Sabbath, Clutch, Soundgarden, Grand Funk Railroad, the Sword, AC\DC, Wo Fat, Trouble but it is more often the more obscure music of these bands that Ded Orse most closely resembles.

The band are a four piece, twin guitar, phenomena, with a vocal delivery that you can’t forget and crowds warm easily to the honesty in the music. Live they are brash, rough round the edges and word of their great live performances has spread, having played at festivals throughout Europe talk is of gigs in Scandinavia and Japan later in the year,

Having been approached by two major record labels, Ded Orse are currently looking for new management and are in the throes of recording an album. So the buzz about this band is building fast so if you like your music to be real, heavy and with the odd psychedelic twist make sure you jump on their wagon quick….

You get the picture. Ded Orse are immensely proud to be included in the line-up for Bloodstock the UK metal and rock festival. The history of the event and the great names that have played there is awe inspiring… and to be part of that is something really special for the band.
