Band Line Up 2014
Initially formed in Manchester, Englandin 2009, Ten Foot Wizard has gone through some personnel changes and now comprises Gary Harkin (vocals/guitar), Adam Henry (guitar), Jonny Banyard (drums), and EmlynSpiers (bass).
The band started with the intention of making stoner rock, but this proved too restrictive and TFW has beengradually incorporating elements of punk, blues, funk and psych into the mix of rock, doom and metal.
Live appearances were rare up until recently as the band was essentially a side project, now the band has a stable line up and are playinglive regularly. Every member has years of experience from playing in bands, allowing the new incarnation to gel very quickly and waste no time in becoming a powerful live band. In a short period of time they’ve garnered a reputation for putting on an incendiary live show, and have had the pleasure of playing with much respected bands such as Karma To Burn, Witch Mountain, Ovvl, Trippy Wicked, Wight, Widows and Bright Curse.
Their debut album ‘Return to the Infinite’ was released on May 5th 2013. The album has been well received and has spread the name of the band far and wide. TFW are currently working on their sophomore album, due for release in summertime 2014. The band will be touring extensively this summer to promote the new album, titled ‘Sleeping Volcanoes’.
‘Return to the Infinite’ is a ten track package of dynamite and nitro, wrapped in a big fuzzy ribbon of whiskey soaked blue denim. This album is quality and could very well be considered as a top album of the year once all is said and done.

Listening to this British band from Manchester is a bit like having ZakkWylde, DANZIG, and Billy Idol as road trip music while going to “loath in Las Vegas” in a shaggy carpet lined, souped-up, sixteen wheeler truck with Chuck Norris as your chauffeur.
