Band Line Up 2022

Formed in 2019, Mechanized perform a blend of modern thrash and melodic death metal, bringing together a package of seriously chunky riffs, intricate melodies and pounding rhythms all with blistering pace and ferocity.  For Fans Of: Testament, Revocation, Havok, early Arch Enemy.

 

Comprising of various veterans of the Southwest metal scene, members previous bands include Huron, The Florentine Camerata, Concrete Donkey and King Bison. 

The Covid pandemic hampered some early progress, stealing several debut shows from the band but they refused to waste time and used the opportunity to focus on songwriting and performance.

  

Sure enough they hit the ground running releasing their debut single and video "United in Misery" in late 2021 and began hitting local gig circuit soon after.

  

The band are currently in the studio recording more music for their eager fans.

With their success in the Metal to the Masses competition and an upcoming support for Irish thrash titans Gama Bomb, they can't wait to bring their sound to as many new faces as possible!

Having visited the hallowed grounds of Catton Park on numerous occasions and discovered so many great acts on the New Blood stage it's an absolute dream come true to get this opportunity. 

We entered the competition mainly to grow our fanbase and contacts within the local scene, the idea of winning being almost at the back of our minds. 

We are all absolutely ecstatic to be playing Bloodstock Festival at such an early stage in our 'gigging career' with this band.
