Band Line Up 2022
Sweet May is a young, heavy rock power-trio, which emerged out of 2021’s lockdown gloom. The band’s distinctive sound, a fluid balance between vintage blues and piercing heavy metal, has quickly earned them a name on the York metal scene.
The trio are multi-instrumentalists, distilling grit and soul with progressive percussive rhythm and a thunderous bass section. Influenced by bands from Black Sabbath to Detroit rockers Greta Van Fleet, they combine genres to create an entirely original sound.
