Band Line Up 2022

Silen is a 3-piece progressive sludge metal band named after a 15th century folklore tale of the 'God of Woodland'. The band was formed in early 2020 after members decided to bring back the raw and dissonant sound they missed from early 2000s progressive rock and metal bands. Silen is Dean Hanfrey on guitar, Paul Kitchener on bass and Frazer Plank on drums. 

We are absolutely stoked to be given the opportunity to play the new blood stage at the legendary Bloodstock Festival this year! We cannot wait to unleash the Silen beast upon the masses with our unique flavour of progressive sludge metal! Are you a true believer of the Silen?
