Band Line Up 2022
Prolapse A.D. formed in 2011 following the birth of the New Wave Of Thrash Metal. Originally started as a side project for Kent scene veterans Alex Lewis (Vocals) and Matt "Gummby" White (Bass), they quickly realised that gigs were missing the good time vibes, fun and satirical humour.
Combining their influences from old school Thrash, Crossover, Grindcore, Death Metal, with a large dose of comedy the band recorded a demo of fast-paced and technical guitar work with ludicrously catchy hooks and comedic lyrical commentary.
Prolapse A.D. embody the spirit of old school thrash and death metal with a tongue-in-cheek swagger that will leave you unable to shake off the chorus to “Black N Decker Pussy Wrecker” for days.
It wasn't long before six string wizard Nik Sampson (Of Devilment, Damim, Splintered Soul, and Zocalo, to name just a few) and Matthew Jackson were added as the guitar pairing.
Countless gigs have followed including Beermageddon, Woodiestock, Sarcoma Fest, and Beastfest as well as multiple Metal 2 The Masses Finals.
In 2014 the band released their self-produced debut album "Blow It Out Your Arse" before taking a hiatus whilst vocalist Alex Lewis tried his hand at being an Australian.
Spoiler alert: turns out you can take the geezer out of London, but you can't take London out of the geezer).
Upon Alex's return the band reformed and released their tribute to the UK's ever popular ex-PM David Cameron - "Pigfucker” in 2016.
The band continued gigging and writing releasing another single in 2018 “Digging Up Your Mother" which landed them a support slot on Act of Defiance's (featuring ex-Megadeth Guitarist Chris Broderick and Drummer Shawn Drover) UK Tour in 2018.
In true Spinal Tap fashion, the band has had several talented sticks man behind the kit but in 2019 Prolapse recruited the formidable talents of Andy Felton (Of Stormborn).
2020 saw the release of another politically charged satirical single "Dump Trump" earning rave reviews and radio play.
Despite a little ol' global pandemic, the band has more momentum than ever before, playing stellar live shows, releasing the long awaited “Can You Dig It" E.P, as well as putting the finishing touches on their sophomore album (slated for release this year).

As long-time fans of the festival we have been attending for over a decade. It is a stone-cold honour to be on the bill with San Francisco’s finest and the up and coming Enforced.
The New Blood Stage is a much-coveted prize to those in the underground scene and we don’t take the task lightly! With so much quality across the weekend we are confident that we can provide something just a little different and are excited to bring our brand of tongue in cheek comedy thrash to Catton Hall.
