Solar Sons are a heavy rock and metal trio based in Dundee, Scotland. Formed in 2014 and releasing 4 albums to date, they play a high energy eclectic  assortment of heavy hitting music, full of weighty riffs and catchy vocal hooks. Their thunderous rhythm sections, scorching melodic leads breaks, and prog fused psychedelic interludes are bound to grab your attention. With a grooving blend of styles, an all round fine brew of top class metal is on display. A passionate and hard working DIY band, striving through the flourishing underground UK scene. Solar Sons are absolutely thrilled to be returning to Bloodstock. We have been extremely happy to get back to playing live shows, and bringing our brand of rock and metal back to the stage is totally charging us up! Playing Bloodstock 2017 after winning the Metal 2 the Masses Inverness Final in 2017, is a total highlight of our gigging history and we can't wait to be part of this brilliant festival again this year. With new material warmed up and ready to unleash live, we are super excited to play Blockstock 2022!
