Band Line Up 2016

2015 Wales, the dawn of a new year. Comrades T “Kreulon” Hill and S “Taranis” Morgan joined forces to create Agrona, derived from the old Celtic goddess of chaos and carnage. With this, they set forth to recruit a fearsome line-up of seasoned musicians to aid in their vision of a blackened aural assault. They were joined by long-time ally S “Ankou” Heffernan, recruited the talents of A “Aeron” Hunter and eventually joined by P “Phoenix” Griffiths. Whilst there were other worthy allies that aided Agrona in its’ fledgling skirmishes, this was the completion Kreulon and Taranis both sought. With this, the ones called Agrona forged onwards to bring a frenzied maelstrom of malice across the South West, before spreading out to the Midlands and soon to Bloodstock. Sharing battlefields with renowned acts such as Welsh Death Metal legends Desecration and Southampton Black Metal Cultists Verdelet, Agrona are now set for total domination! 

 

Worshipping the old traditions of Black Metal and the altars of Death in equal measure, Agrona also set its’ sights on paths less travelled and often shunned by the fearful. Mediations soon gave way to progress, forging a war machine of pure Blackened Metal fury. An all-encompassing term, the true distillation of what is Agrona! All influence cast into its’ abyss, reborn and twisted into a new state of wrathful existence.

 

Embers to an inferno. Merciless precision and hellish intensity. There will be no dawn for the weak. There will only be…..Agrona.

There is no greater honour, no greater privilege than to be selected to perform at the mighty Bloodstock Open Air. Truly, we’re still in a frenzy from it! Being able to play alongside such renowned acts is the highest we can strive for! We will use every ounce of our might to ensure that Bloodstock is given a slaughter worthy of its’ name, as those have done before us. Show your fists and horns! See you in the pit! - Agrona.
