Band Line Up 2016

"Rabid Bitch of the North are a three piece heavy metal band from Belfast, Northern Ireland. They are purveyors of pure and traditional heavy metal and are influenced greatly by the NWOBHM. In addition to this, the bands musical character and individuality is also very important to their ethos and they ultimately aim to be themselves. Taking their influences from a variety of other genres of metal too, their style is best described as fast, hard, heavy and with fury! They are an incendiary live unit, bursting with energy and excitement from the first note to the last, and have warmed the stage for such legends as Raven, Diamond Head, Angel Witch, Hell and Blitzkrieg to name a few! With soaring vocals, memorable riffs, blistering solos and pounding drums, RBOTN can engage any audience that is put in front of them and leave them begging for more! Over the last 10 years they have forced their way through a scene that has been dominated largely by bands at the extreme end of the metal spectrum. This has proven their determination and dedication to playing heavy metal in its purest form! The Bitch is about to bite!”

It's great to be playing  bloodstock 2016.  Playing the largest UK independent Metal Festival is a big deal and the whole band are looking forward to coming over!  The atmosphere was amazing and we know this time it will be even better.!! As a bonus we are also going to be on the same bill as some of the greatest metal and rock bands in history such as Venom Twisted Sister Anthrax and Slayer.  It's an absolute honour and privilege for us to be invited to play once again and we will be sure to put on a good show for the crowds there! - Gerry – RBOTN
