Band Line Up 2016
ATTICA RAGE is a heavy rock band from Scotland with a solid reputation for energetic, powerful performances on tours and at festivals across the UK and Europe. Signed to Off Yer Rocka Recordings, the Glasgow group have found a loyal fanbase with three critically-acclaimed albums, various singles and a live concert & feature-length documentary film released to date. June 2016 sees the release of fourth album Warheads Ltd ahead of summer festival appearances and a UK & Ireland headline tour later in the year, with European tour dates continuing into 2017.
Formed in Glasgow in 2003 by Richie Rage (drums) and his younger brother Jonny Parr (vocals/guitar), the line-up is completed by Stevie Bell (guitar) who joined in 2007 with Matthew Ward (bass) joining in 2014.
Attica Rage have been headlining shows since 2006 and their commitment to touring has seen them cover literally hundreds of thousands of miles from as far north as the Shetland Isles, across the UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria and to Slovenia in eastern Europe. They have also supported acts such as Black Label Society, Testament, Saxon, Skindred, Diamond Head and Armored Saint as well as shared festival bills with the likes of Judas Priest, Slash, Blind Guardian, Down, Suicidal Tendencies and WASP. Festival highlights include High Voltage; Hard Rock Hell; Hammerfest; SOS; Metaldays Slovenia (formerly MetalCamp); HRH Road Trip Ibiza; Summerrock and Wizzfest Belgium; Bulldog Bash; Cambridge Rock Festival & WildFire. When Anthrax headlined Metal Hammer’s Golden Gods Awards with Chris Jericho presenting, Attica Rage were invited to perform on the pre-show boat party with Fozzy, Shadows Fall and Evil Scarecrow as it sailed along the Thames towards the O2 Arena in London.

Attica Rage have played many of the UK’s rock and metal festivals but we have been patiently waiting in the wings to come to Bloodstock. Our time has now come and to say we’re ecstatic is an understatement! We are so ready for this! We have new album Warheads Ltd out this summer, what better way to kick off our UK & Ireland tour than playing BOA 2016! We expect to see all the Clan Attica down the front and we invite all our metal brothers & sisters to come over to the Jagermeister stage and make our debut Bloodstock appearance one to remember. This is gonna be special!
