Band Line Up 2013

Formed in 2007, the band honed their sound by
consistent gigging before releasing their debut EP, The Man Of The Black Abyss,
late 2008, from which they shot the video for the lead track in the sumptuous
surroundings of Gloucester Cathedral, an architectural feature of the Harry
Potter films.

The following year, whilst still in their teens,
CYPHER16 toured America following an invitation to play LocoFest alongside the
likes of Mudvayne, In This Moment, Hed PE and Nonpoint, and later that same
year they became one of the first metal bands to tour India, playing with the
likes of Lacuna Coil!

2010 saw the band enter Fortress Studios with Dan
Weller (Sikth/Enter Shikari/Young Guns) to record The Metaphorical Apocalypse
EP, which – after further UK and European tours – was released in 2011, with
the video being shot at Battersea Power Station and premiering on Scuzz TV
(landing at no.2 in the best video chart). 2012 saw the band head out to India
for a world record 5th time on a Metal Hammer-sponsored tour. This included a
headline festival appearance in Delhi (approx 5,000 cap) and a memorable show
supporting Children Of Bodom.

2013 sees the release of their new EP, Determine
(debuted by Metal Hammer Magazine) and a number of UK, International and
festival dates, including BLOODSTOCK, as well as the release of the
long-awaited debut album.
