Neonfly!were!formed!in!2008!immediately!making!a!name!for!themselves!in!the!
Underground with!their!first!EP"Clever!Disguise".Dates swiftly followed!in!the
UK and!Europe,including!appearances at Bloodstock, Hard Rock Hell!Road!Trip Ibiza! and! tours supporting! bands! such as Freedom! Call, Pagan's Mind, Power Quest and!H.E.A.T.!amongst!others.
In! 2010! their! storming! Bloodstock performance earned the band an offer! to release!the!track!"Ship!With!No!Sails"!on!the!ROCKBAND!Network.!The!track!has proved!immensely!popular!on!X/box!and!was!upgraded!to!the!PS3!in!October 2011!due!to!outstanding!sales.
In 2011!the!band!recorded!their!debut!full/length!album "Outshine The Sun"!as
the!band!was!swiftly!snapped!up!by!the!UK!label!Rising!Records. The!album!was! released on September! 5th 2011 and has been! reviewed extensivel and was positively!received!in!the!UK!and!international!rock!press.!It!is!now!available!in stores! and onlineeverywhere.The album was granted a Japanese release in February!2012.
In!Summer!2012!the!band!took!a!huge!leap!forward!by!being!confirmed at some of! Europe’s! biggest! metal! festivals.! (Download!UK,! Masters! of! Rock! –! Czech! Republic,!Galapagai!–!Lithuania).!With!the!release!of!their!debut!video!for!‘A!Gift! To!Remember’!in!July!2012,!the!band!has!enjoyed!a!growing!hike!in!terms!of! profile!as!a!result!of!their!growing!media!exposure.
In!autumn2012,!the!band!was!selected!to!support!British!melodic!rock!legends! MAGNUM on! a European! tour,! which! included! 18! nearly! sold/out! shows.The! band! was! welcomed! overwhelmingly! positively! by! Magnum’s audience!throughout!Europe!and!garnered!glowing!reviews!wherever!they!performed.
In!spring!2013,!the!band!traveled!to!Germany!again!to!record!their!sophomore
album!with!legendary!producer!Dennis!Ward!(Pink!Cream!69,!Unisonic,Angra,
Krokus,!Primal!Fear…)!at!HOFA!studios.
The!band!however,!took!a!break!during!the!production!to!go!back!to!the!UK!to!
support!Finnish!melodic!metal!legends!Sonata!Arctica!on!4!sold!out!shows,!and!
are!now!looking!ahead!to!playing!the!Main!Stage!at!Masters!of!Rock!festival!in! Czech! Republic,! the! most! important! Heavy! Metal/Hard! Rock! festival! in! central/eastern!Europe.!The!show!will!be!filmed!in!its!entirety!for!a!future!bonus! DVD.
The!list!of!summer!shows!for!2013!keeps!growing!as!Neonfly!just!got!picked!up! to! support! rock! legend! ALICE! COOPER! on! his! summer! headline! shows! in Germany,!which!will!undoubtedly!contribute!to!further!establish!the!band!in!the! continent.!
