Band Line Up 2013

Difficult to class which genre we fit in but Southern Stoner Metal seems to be the most frequently used. Heavy down tuned metal with a bluesy southern edge with a focus on songs and big riffs with massive sing-a-long chorus.
With 3 e.p.'s released thus far, with the debut offering being released in 2010 entitled 'secrets and lies' and focused on the heavier side of our sound with the title track still being a crowd favourite.
On the second e.p. 'hear me scream' we really found 'our' sound, not as mish-mash as the debut and features 4 songs again all of them crowd favourites. This was released in 2011.
2013 has been awesome so far for Line Of Fire. We played at Hammerfest festival on stage 2 and played possibly our best show so far.
Played a lot of shows already and are a part of the Headbangers Balls tour featuring the very best in unsigned British metal.
We have just released our new e.p., again 4 songs clocking in at 24 minutes entitled 'nowhere to go'. This has a more bluesy southern tinge to it than the others and we have had the song 'wrong side of the track' picked to go on the Headbangers Balls album.
2013 just keeps on getting better and better for us and we are planning on writing a full album next, one song finished already and plenty more in the pipeline and we are going to dedicate September and October to writing and hope to have the album ready by early 2014.
Line Of Fire are planning to blow the roof off the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock festival.
We are chuffed to bits to be playing at such an iconic festival and arguably the best metal festival the UK has to offer.
For me personally to play at Bloodstock which I have supported and seen blossom over the years it is a real honour. I am finding it hard to put into words but this means the world to us and hope to see our ever increasing fanbase coming out in force
for this shocker..................
