Band Line Up 2013
Band Photo Gallery
Although Mitch has recently appeared on a
mainstream singing contest and pushing forward with his alternative rock solo
project "MisterNothing", Mitch has been a part of many rock/metal
bands and projects over the years, including classic rock outfit Toxic
Federation (now Fahran) and power metal band "Sorcerer's Spell", both
of which
have previously battled in the Metal 2 The Masses
competitions nationally and appeared/appearing at Bloodstock. Mitchel's Cousin Al Atkins is the also the
original vocalist and founding member of Judas Priest.
Mitchel has been described as being diverse in the
ability to cross various genres from pop, alt rock, classic rock, electronic
and metal, and somehow pull it off.
At this years Bloodstock festival, Mitchel will be
departing from his band, the overblown TV productions and reality stories to
perform an intimate solo acoustic set at the Jagermeister Stage with his own
songs from his "MisterNothing" project and to pay homage to bands and
the metal scene who have supported him throughout his life, in various bands and
through his time on The Voice UK this year.
"I really enjoyed being at Bloodstock 2012 and
getting to come back and play after representing rock music on The Voice this
year is damn awesome. It's great to show that you can appear on a national TV
show and still support alternative music, and finally get
the ball rolling to get rid of this ridiculous idea
in the public eye that rock is dead. Anyone who's ever attended Bloodstock or
any rock/metal festival will know that it very much alive and kicking, and is
still the best amount of fun you can have. I cannot wait to
play and be part of such an awesome festival.
