Band Line Up 2013

Following the European jaunt and subsequent departure of their bassist, the band entered the FFG Studios in Autumn 07 to record the “Manipulate” E.P. 2010 finally saw the band joined by the livewire bassist Pit; the result being a huge tone and stage presence added to the increasingly tight musical arrangements.

As a four piece the band immediately set out with purpose, self recording a demo for the forthcoming album and playing over 40 dates Nationwide throughout 2011, garnering positive reviews from many online magazines. Notable shows included a support with Soilent Green and a stellar performance at the Metal Hammer Hammerfest 3 Festival in the company of bands such as Sylosis, Entombed, Onslaught, Bleed From Within and Evile.

The debut album “Off The Grid” was recorded at Cadence Studios in January 2012, and was released in June 2012 to positive reviews. Two sold out album launch shows in Newport and Cardiff catapulted the band to the top of the South Wales metal scene, garnering support shows with Malefice, Silent Screams, Pain and Neosis along the way.

Now, having added former Outgunned front man and guitarist Tom Damsell to their ranks, Ten Cent Toy are more brutally heavy, technically able, and more focused than ever, with a tight uncompromising stage show worthy of their fans’ recognition. Having just won the Welsh Final of the Terrorizer Magazine Battle of the Bands to represent their country at the National final in London, Ten Cent Toy are strong, aggressive and totally committed to their unique style of metal. Together, they are ready to show Bloodstock, and the World, that they are the act to look out for in 2013.
