Band Line Up 2017

Formed in late 2016, Ashen Crown are a Midlands based Metal band whose hybrid style draws influence from many of Metals sub-genres. Most notable bands that influence their sound are; Bolt Thrower, At the Gates, Benediction, Pantera, Sylosis, Gojira, Slayer, Death, Lamb of God, Mastodon and Hypocrisy.  

 

With a Strong set of material, the band took to stage for their successful live debut early March 2017. Two weeks later the band began their Wolverhampton Metal to the Masses campaign, progressing to and winning the Grand- Final in late May 2017. Ashen Crown are now looking to reach further away from the Midlands and expand their already rapidly growing fan base.

 

Alongside the live shows, Ashen Crown have released a number of self-produced demos to give audiences a taste of things to come. These have been well received and have already earned Radio / Podcast play across the UK, Europe and in the US. The band are now looking at options for their debut EP and hoping for a release late 2017.

 

With some exciting live shows (including Bloodstock`s New Blood Stage and support slot with Memoriam) lined up and a full studio EP in the pipeline, 2017 promises to be an eventful year for Ashen Crown.

Following months of hard work and preparation for Metal to the Masses, Ashen Crown are honoured to be playing Bloodstock 2017. Mayhem Promotions had a savage roster this year and we feel very privileged to have been a part of the competition. The opportunity to play the New Blood Stage at the UK's number one independent metal festival is amazing.
