The Infernal Sea - Horrifying, depraved, punishing UK Black Metal. Formed in 2011, The Infernal Sea have risen through the ranks to become one of the strongest black metal bands in the UK. Supporting numerous influential bands including 1349, Akercocke, Arch Enemy, Napalm Death and Anaal Nathrakh. TIS also appeared at Damnation Festival 2016 and Incineration Festival 2017. Sophomore album 'The Great Mortality' was released by Cacophonous records in 2016 to widespread praise (Metal Hammer - 8/10, Kerrang - 4K, Terrorizer - 8/10) with support from BBC Introducing and Daniel P Carter's Radio One Rock Show. The Infernal Sea take no prisoners with their intense, harrowing performances and invite you to join the ritual at Bloodstock.  

The Infernal Sea are proud to return to Bloodstock after haunting the New Blood Stage in 2013. Our ritual on the Sophie Lancaster Stage will be our most powerful, perverse and intense incantation to date. Watch out Bloodstock, we are coming to infect you.
