Band Line Up 2021
Elder Druid is a doom/sludge band from Belfast, Northern Ireland. They formed in early 2015 and have since released two EPs and two studio albums, with two of them being released on Jon Davis from Conan’s label Black Bow Records. Made up of singer Gregg McDowell, guitarists Jake Wallace and Mikey Scott, bass players Dale Hughes and Daniel Zanker Ovalle and drummer Brien Gillen.
They’ve toured extensively across the UK & Ireland, as well as a headline European tour in early 2020 just before the pandemic. They have shared stages with bands such as Conan, Monolord, AHAB, Chubby Thunderous Bad Kush Masters, Dead Witches, Ten Ton Slug, and Slomatics.
Their latest album ‘Golgotha’ was released on 17th January 2020. It was produced by Dale Hughes in Blackstaff Mill, Belfast. They signed to Interstellar Smoke Records (Poland) in 2021 and are due to release their 3rd album ‘Carcosa’ later in the year.
