GHOSTS OF MEN
Nicely heavy, two piece Alt-Rock Sometimes described as a pair of naredowells with the combined mental age of 7, sometimes hailed as geniuses of the genre, it's fair to say these two throw themselves into every performance with passion, humour, style and sheer power leaving a lasting impression wherever they go. The 4 years since the release of debut album ‘Breathe’ have seen Ghosts Of Men take to over 120 festival stages and countless UK venues, sign a record deal, release 4 EP's as well as 7 cutting edge music videos and embark on an extensive 7country tour of Europe, constantly building an army of fans Europe-wide along the way.
The planned emergence back onto the live scene by these two in 2021 off the back of their second album ‘Exhale’ is set to drip with all the pent up energy and excitement present in the recordings. With HRH 14, Boomtown, Bearded Theory and many many more festivals already booked, 2021 is looking like Ghosts of Men’s finest hour. ‘’Edgy, high energy grit from Ghosts Of Men; so consistent, every single track is so strong, every instrument you can hear being played with so much passion, so much energy - this is exactly what we need right now. I just wanna see them both live again!’’- Angelle Joseph - BBC
“Firstly, I’d like to say that Ghost Of Men are amazing. People always said that my old band Carter USM made a big noise for two people, we cheated though, we had backing tapes. Clegg and Adam take it to a whole new level. Awesomeness drips from every note.” – Les Carter (Carter USM)
From the moment I first heard Ghosts of Men I’ve been hooked. Energetic, catchy hooks and intelligent truthful writing that runs a gamut of emotions. It’s gritty Rock at its finest and & Exhale is an album you’ll want to put on repeat again and again Paul Cash - Pure Rock Fury - MMH The Home of Rock Radio
“Amazingly, this big sound is created by only two musicians from Ghosts Of Men. Once you have listened to their music, you will remember them forever. This is the extent to how much their music is unique and infectious, with the word ‘fresh’ being another word suited to describing their music.” Teri Morris – EGH Radio, musicmattersgb.com.
“Ghosts of Men’s record is a mix of gloriously filthy blues and Desert rock. Their live show is an explosion of anarchy with a devilish wink. These chaps are playing some kind of impish prank on the world. But don’t worry, they want you to be in on it too. This is my favourite festival band for good reason.” – Stuart Blakeledge 103.9 VoiceFm
“Like a two piece Queens of the Stone Age if Queens of the Stone Age were entirely composed of Morecambe and Wise” – Stuart Turner BBC Radio
“I love having Ghosts Of Men’ on the show. Powerhouse performers with such a feel for the brilliant music they play and a growing army of fans.” – Tony Fisher, Head of Music, BBC Essex.
“It shouldn’t be physically possible for a duo with a combined mental age of 7 to make this much noise and still be catchy, melodic and funny while maintaining an ever so slightly mental edge. I loves em!” – Gail Something-Else – Festival Organiser/Venue Owner
‘’When we were invited to attend Bloodstock Open Air this year, we assumed it was to sell burgers or maybe a nasty spillage needed mopping up. Then we learned that Simon actually wanted us to play our energetic, nicely heavy 2-piece alt-rock to a Bloodstock audience with style passion and humour. That made much more sense, and needless to say; we were overjoyed. We now have a burger van for sale if anyone knows anyone?’’
