Band Line Up 2021

Mountain Caller, a heavy progressive instrumental three-piece from London, are driven to tell stories with music. They want listeners to be able to conjure cinematic scenes in their minds, painting images with sparkling guitars, moments of tempo and time signature play, dynamics changes, less conventional structures, sledgehammer bass and big fucking riffs.

Their first album follows The Protagonist who, having awoken under the rubble of a ruined city with no name, no voice and no memory, is compelled by an indefinable but urgent need to set forth on an Odyssean journey. She seeks out a mysterious goat shaman, the Mountain Caller (from whom the band took their name) and with its seemingly benevolent if cryptic direction she crosses great oceans, deserts and faces dark perils in a quest to rediscover her memory and her voice.
