Band Line Up 2021

We are Tortured Demon, a young three-piece Thrashcore band from Manchester, UK. Aged between 14 and 16, our influences include Machine Head, Trivium, Children of Bodom and Sepultura.

Our line-up consists of:

Jacob Parkinson - Lead Vocals / Guitar (15)

Freddie Meaden – Clean Vocals / Bass (14)

Joe Parkinson - Drums (17)

After forming in 2018, we began writing music the following year, and released 3 singles, an EP and a demo between December 2019 and January 2021.

We released our first full-length album ‘In Desperation’s Grip’ on the 5th of February 2021, which features 9 brand new tracks.  We are signed to Spiritual Beast Records in Japan and they have put out the album through Universal Music with an additional bonus track in Asia. The album entered the Japanese Diskunion Hard Rock/Metal chart at #5, making us the best-selling international metal band in their chain of stores across the country on release week. We are in the process of writing our second album and are aspiring to sign to a label closer to home for the UK and Europe.

Through the hype created by pre-lockdown gigs (including winning our Manchester M2TM Heat) we have been offered many exciting opportunities for the future, including gigs supporting Xentrix at London Underworld and Manchester Academy.  Most recently, we have been added to Unearthed Music’s roster for booking, and we have quite a few other shows lined up for later in the year. 

We are a hard-working band, and we are willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.

We are incredibly excited to be playing the UK’s best metal festival this year, and we cannot wait to play some of our new album In Desperation’s Grip to all of the crazy Bloodstock metalheads!
