Band Line Up 2025

From the mists of the Celtic Otherworld in borne Adfeilion, an atmospheric and experimental folk metal band from Swansea that weaves sonic landscapes of enchanted forests, ruined castles and silent cities. The band have honed their live show by playing extensively across South Wales and finished their successful 2024 by winning the annual Swansea Battle of the Bands at the first sold out final in the history of the competition. The band then continued their momentum in 2025 by winning the South Wales Metal 2 The Masses competition, impressing judges and audiences with their immersive storytelling and instrumental rituals.

Adfeilion will release their first Studio recorded album in August 2025 with Producer James Weaver. Delivering their characteristic Post Folk Metal sound, Inspired by bands such as God is an Astronaut, Saor, Can Bardd and Heilung. 

'We are deeply honoured to represent South Wales on the New Blood Stage at this legendary festival. The competition was extremely fierce, and we will take with us the spirit and passion of every band we have played with, on our M2TM journey, to the stage. We hope our bardic storytelling and folk metal will ignite the hearts of the audience, burning the veil from the midsummer sky as we summon the Otherworld onto the Hallowed fields of Bloodstock.'
